Week # 8

So ya, first baptism is underway! Korri Nelson is on date for September 17th! We are so happy and excited for her! We hope that Jeff will follow soon after. We love them both so much, they are amazing people! I really really dont have much time to write. Some pretty cool things have happened this week and i will try to do a better update next week haha

Week # 7

Hey there family!
Not much time to write but i wanted to say hello, and let everyone know im doing well. Actually better than well, i love it out here!
We got to listen to L. Tom Perry yesterday down in Portland...we sat in front of an Apostle of the Lord and heard the things that our Father wanted us to hear. Amazing amazing amazing, picture sitting in front of Peter, or Paul, and listening to him talk about Christ and the things that we need to do as missionarys. Thats what it was like...because thats what it was. And...he is hysterical! Apparently when they travel they have ice cream every night before bed haha! Brother Clayton who was traveling with them to the different missions in the area said that "one of the pleasures of traveling with the Perry's...is that every night there is an ice cream social" haha.
Wonderful experience, and now after that i can say I have seen in person or even talked with every member of the current Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, as well as the First Presidency! Now when one dies ill just have to go find his replacement and meet him to keep it going haha.
Well times almost up, i hope everything is going well with everyone, have fun in Payson, take tons of pictures for me!!!

Week # 6

Hey there family, not to much to report. Just the crazy stresses of Missionary work haha, along with the incredible joy that comes out of it!

Jeff and Korri Nelson are talking about getting baptized so we are trying to set a date!

We have a lady who is recently widowed, she has three sons, two who are teenagers. She is coming to Church next week and will hopefully let us come over and teach her!

We went to the Portland Temple this morning.....it is sooooo dang big! The Celsestial Room was absolutly breathtaking.

I just had to sit there for like 10 minutes and just look, because it was so pretty.

Depending what area i am in in 3 months will determine if I will go to that Temple or the Columbia River Temple. Im pretty sure i will still be here :)

Well I threw out my back a couple weeks ago and it hasnt gone away, so I have a doctors appointment in a few hours to see whats up.

Oh and mom it turns out i definetly will have to buy a new camera...i dropped mine like 15 minutes ago and it broke haha.

Well thats pretty much it!
